A Summary

A new month with its new challenges. I am very convident of the success that it holds and the achivements it will bring. I’m crossing my fingers that I will be up to the challenges.
Anyways, it has been 6-7months I have began this blogging adventure and have posted a modest amount of 60posts so far. It isn’t alot nor can I really boast about it but I am very proud of this achievement and hope that the next 6months will hold this equal amount or why not more quality creativity 😀
Hence below I will give out the list of all the posts I’ve posted so far for those interested to go through them. Knowing that many people are choicy and don’t have time nor the patience to go through them all, this list will ease your journey through my world.

-This is my very first poem and my favourite ’cause what is more beautiful than fiendship..besides family and love..:-D

Standstill:- I had just come out of an illness where I was hospitalised for 3days. I hated being stack in bed for hours just seeing nurses. I came back home and posted my deepest thoughts.

-The 2nd poem I ever wrote and it talks about distant love relationships in a sort of way. So if you’ve ever dated someone that you can’t hold every night then this poem might openly talk to you..

My Artistic Raison D’etre:- written on
-a response to the word prompt from wordpress
– “Raison d’etre” is a French expression that literally means “the reason of my being” (word to word translation). So the word prompt was out to know what my artistic reason of being/ why I’ve become an artist. This was my response to it. It wasn’t easy and I dwelled on it for hours with so much things and words swirling in my head, all demanding to be expressed.

Breaking free:- written on Friday 14^th April
-Through this poem I tried to encourage individuality. Society demands us all to be mirror images and to fit into pre-determined norms; we should all walk in the same direction and keep our heads bent down very low. Well I say don’t be afraid to be different ‘cause the mass/crowd isn’t always right in every situation..

-I talk about the adventures I experience everytime I take a pen and paper, let my mind wonder and allow my muse to guide me . It’s not always easy but I’m satisfied by the rsults obtained. The artist is revealed.

-Someone told me that love is a choice. I strongly disagreed but that’s because I’m a romantic, and believe in fairytales. I love with my whole being and put soul in everything I do. However someone else confirmed this thought. Yet I still disagree..How about your thought on this?}

The Month Of June

11th

The Beginning:-written on some day.
-That day I found myself dwelling on that Supernatural,omnipresent and omnipotent being that the mass majority of the human race prays to everyday no matter what their religious and spiritual convictions are. Basing the foundations of this poem on the book of genesis in the bible, I kinda spoke about what christians believed happened during this world’s creation. But still  left a hanging question; What happens to us all during our day-to-day lives, is it God’s will or our destiny? Food for a thought right there.

Heart Break:-written on Tuesday 21st June 2016.
-Experience is the best teacher. This is an important fact. So we should all learn from each other’s errors. Love is beautiful but the other side of this coin is a horror. Deciding to end something that was thought to be a lifetime experience is like plugging one eye out; It will leave an eternal scar.
-This poem has a very harsh tone but it reflects the state of mind in which I found myself when it was written.

Today I was informed about the courses that wordpress was offering to improve our blogging skills and decided to subcribe to 3 of the 5 courses offered. I was in a serious lack of inspiration and the everyday challenges and lessons was a great experience so most of the posts posted till the end of August are the fruits of these courses. My Grandmother’s Touch:- This is a story I wrote for a class test 4years ago. It was my eye opening experience to my writing capacity if not the talent I hold. So I found it important to post it because it’s the cause of the existence of this blog today. I thank my Form5 English teacher for being so exigent and only wanting the best of the english language; both spoken and written..He opened my eyes 🙂

Monster:- Monster..I must say this was the most difficult poem I’ve written since I decided to work on my poetry. I spent 2months on it and even when I decided to post it, I still wasn’t satisfied but I had to liberate myself of it and see what others would think about it. Most people liked it so a big thanks to them.
-I talk about my demons, the things about myself that I would like to protect the ones I love from. My vices, my dangers and even my attitude. It reflects a song I like alot so I’m pleased with the effect.

Revenge:-Here I dwell on the consequence of grudges that become a familial issue for generations and generations. I also tried to create a rhyme with complicated words starting with the letter “B” in the dictionary..Oopps, haha.

Cruelty:-Here I went on to talk about the evil nature of cruelty, the forms in which it could be found + I also tried to create a rhyme with complicated words starting with the letter “C” in the dictionary.

Corruption:-This is the 2nd haiku I’ve adventured into writing. This is definitely a hard form of poetry.

Blogger Recognition Award:-I answered to the nomination of my friend Christy in the best way that I could and found it the best way of ending a fruitful month with all my goals being achieved..YEAH…
