At exactly 5:50pm (GMT), Idealizeblog was launched on WordPress with its very first blog post Thought of the day published at 6:15pm (GMT) on February 29 2016.

To be honest, I didn’t really have any plans or ideas on what I was to write on this original creation. I just knew that I had chosen an awesome date, one that comes once in 4 years which definitely reflected the image and idea behind the whole concept.

It wasn’t till my very first word-prompt responses that I knew I was good at poetry and that it was my artistic genre. Obviously it’s something one is concious about especially if one only wins gold in every activity she/he engages herself/himself in. Poetry recites, number of books read competitions, articles, essays, ballet, tennis,etc. Apparently it was hard to be my younger sibling and living up to such a reputation 😝🙈🙊 Younger I had a hold on lots of things that growing up I lost interest in ’cause I wasn’t encouraged to continue or even forbidden to do so cause it would “disturb my school”.

Hence you come to realise that you are your own boss and it’s up to you to set the rules. Your happiness depends on you and you only.

I feel happy blogging, the smallest changes, improvements and word written down enlightens my day. Brings happiness that I’ve come to realise no human being can and, that’s something to protect and treasure. I’m definitely armed in my solid armour.🔫🔗💂 Trust me 🙍😉

I’ve made some important decisions, defined some people’s loyalty and trust based on this blog. You can’t claim to love me and give no damn to what I love doing. If you can’t even tell me your favourite post, past or present, why not future, then things become crystal clear to me.

Why this attitude? Well I’m someone who’s very dedicated to others, I invest myself to the fullest when I’m asked for help by a loved one so I would expect and appreciate the least in return, right? Erm, maybe not so much anymore ’cause some expectations are just to high for certain individuals, certainly the wrong people. That’s life 😇😊

Siim Land (http://siimland.com) was the first like of my very first post- Thought of the day, liked on the 6th March 2016. *Sigh* I had to wait that long before any gratitude or satisfaction on..Erm well a simple quote found in a recherche laboratory, nailed right next to a voltmeter 😂🙈 Hey!! I had to post something right? Or maybe not, not too sure right now 😒😕

Anyways I just needed something to mark its creation and a post was the perfect marker. 😏

 Siobhan Tebbs (http://siobhantebbs.wordpress.com) was my first ever follow as a novice in the blogosphere on 3rd March 2016. Reading lots of articles on WordPress and internet made me understand that to get some visits, likes and follows, I needed to go towards others, like their post, leave comments that may encourage them to come around and see what I am up to. For an introvert like me, this seemed an impossible task 😑 Approach strangers, seriously??!! 😣😭

Helas I did take this advise very seriously because I really want/wanted to succeed so when I like a post, I really did/do like it. Liking it means I must leave a comment, very fruitful comments I am told  😁 Please do note that I don’t follow someone just so the person returns the favour. It gives the impression of being used and nobody likes to be used. So if I follow you means you’ve got potential and talent, I like talent 😍😘 This talent I like encouraging by reblogging posts. I easily reblog a post, just needs to touch a sensitive vibe in my heart and reblogged 😉😂 I just hope I post lots of my own work then encourage others’, hhhmmm! 😐 I know that my fan base isn’t large, nor do I have 25k followers and counting, nor can I boast of social media presence or an app of my own but I believe that some people just need to know that their art was truly appreciated somewhere and that has no prize for me 😊

darklandpoetry was my very first follower on 22nd March 2016. That long before a follow??!! Wow I’m more endearing than I thought 😟😔 Anyways I’ve got a modest number of 130 now, so that’s awesome ✌💪👐

Finally I signed up for the WordPress courses on the 6th July 2016 because my blog was boring 🙈🙊 ok I’ve said it 😱 So it needed some spicing up. I signed up for 3 courses the same day and I can proudly say I achieve in completing 65% of them all together. I know 😂

I’ve never been a social media type, I’ve avoided them for as long as I could till I realised I needed them to spread my art, else I’d be the only one reading them so I created my Facebook account on 6th October 2016. *Clearing my throat* when others have had theirs since 2013, somebody please tell me I didn’t miss out on anything 😢🙈

Created my 2nd blog on 3rd January 2017 but yet to be operational and the official page for both blogs was created on 1st February 2017.

A shout out loud to Gladys for being an amazing person and stepping in at a certain moment, encouraging and promoting me from there on. I love you and God bless you.😍😘😊  To Raissa for being a good listener and holding my hand when she could/can.😍😘😅  To Capucine for listening to my rants. I know this blog was a common project but just finish with your final year of high school and I’ll make it up to you 😘😍

In the month of August I finally decided to set a goal for myself. To achieve a number of 120followers, 1200views and 120posts by my first birthday anniversay. I think I greatly achieved that goal. Calls for more celebration  Though I would have loved to have 2400views today, doubling my expectations would have been even more satisfying for the perfectionist me

I think that’s about it 😁 So all that’s left to say is Merry Chri… Eerrmm sorry wrong time of the year 😂🙊🙈
